Sponsoring a child covers schooling, health care, transportation, food, clothing, room & board, recreational activities and other life necessities.

A critical factor in serving others is the concept of equal opportunity for all, regardless of their race, color, sex, or social and ideological backgrounds. Any bias contradicts equality and undermines the main principles of human rights and development.
The insight gained from the experience of Imam Sadr Foundation is that women’s empowerment is a reliable approach for social change and a prerequisite to win the fight against social injustice.

For these reasons, each year, Sadr Foundation Canada will host a career week workshop where young women can attend lectures from young female professionals talking about their career in their respected field.

We will also provide a mentorship program for young girls who seek advice from women who had already gone through their wished career path.

The quote, “I and the one who helps an orphan will be together in paradise,” from Prophet Mohammed (saw) was the inspiration for the first fundraising dinner, highlighting the organization’s tireless work on behalf of orphans in desperate need.

Finally, Sadr Foundation Canada is working on future projects to help the people in need.
